Dr. Billie McElwrath

Dr. Billie McElwrath’s very first adjustment at the age of 16, changed the course of her life. She experienced a severe accident at the age of 10. Innocently enough, she hit the fifth bump while going down a slide at a carnival, became airborne, then landed directly on her bottom. She was completely incapacitated for over an hour due to the severe pain. As the result of this accident, over the next six years, she suffered from daily migraines, had to walk bent forward, and was unable to feel her right leg due to severe numbness and tingling. After going through a three month chiropractic treatment plan, all symptoms were erased, and she was able to live a normal life of a 16 year old. She credits chiropractic care for saving her life. From that point forward, she was inspired to become a chiropractor in order to help others achieve their maximum health and physical mobility.

Dr. Billie McElwrath’s experience in treatment extends past spinal, into muscular and nutritional avenues. She first obtained her massage therapy license from Professional Massage Training Center and her undergraduate degree from Missouri State University in Springfield, MO. She then obtained her Bachelor of Science in Life Science, Master of Science in Nutrition and Human Performance, and her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the renowned Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, Missouri. Dr. Billie has had the wonderful opportunity to serve thousands of patients from Missouri to Virginia, but was ready to put down roots. She could not be happier to have found her forever home in Murfreesboro, TN.
